St. Hugh Youth Ministry VACATION BIBLE CAMP This is a ministry that includes parishioners of varied age groups, sharing their gifts and talents, or being served by those that do.   Our Camp is run the last week of July.  However, the ministry’s planning starts in October. VACATION BIBLE CAMP TEEN LEADERSHIP GROUP This group of Junior and Senior High teens meet throughout the year to come up with a Theme and Outline for the week of camp.  It is an opportunity for young people to take on a project from its inception and see it through to completion. VACATION BIBLE CAMP ADULT TEAM This is a group of concerned adults that are committed to the enabling of Junior and Senior High teens for their ministry.  They prepare and guide the young people to actually run the Bible Camp.   TEEN AND ADULT COUNSELORS This is a large group of Teens and adults that come together in June to be trained and eventually work a week of Vacation Bible Camp. JUNIOR LECTORS, GREETERS, & SENIOR ALTAR SERVERS If you are not shy and like to make new friends, or would like to serve at the liturgy, please give your talents to these groups. SERVICE PLANNING COMMITTEE Bring your ideas for group activities to this group. Parishioners in both communities are always in need of help. Organize events for participation by all. TEACHER’S AIDE If you are available one afternoon or one evening per week, there are many adult catechists in need of your energy in their classroom. WHO ARE FRIENDS FOR LIFE? We are young people exploring our faith in a fun and welcoming environment. We respect the importance of one another’s individuality. We appreciate and encourage the gifts and talents of today’s youth. We challenge ourselves to discover who we are by what we can do for ourselves , our families and others. Our journey together will lead us to a deeper friendship with each other and with God. Come join us... We are Friends for Life!
