The Parish Council
St. Hugh's Parish Council is an advisory
group to the Pastor. Members are appointed to a five-year term by the
pastor after consultation with parish leadership. The Council meets
seven to ten times a year to shape the long-term vision of parish life
and ministry.
The Parish Trustees
The Parish Trustees are responsible for the
civil-law corporation of the parish. The members of the corporation
are: the diocesan bishop (president); the regional Episcopal Vicar
(vice-president); the pastor (secretary) (all ex-officio); and two lay
parishioners elected by the ex-officio members for a three-year term.
The corporation meets four times a year.
The Finance Committee
The Parish Finance Committee is established
according to the requirements of Canon Law. It is responsible for
financial oversight of the parish, including the preparation of the
budget and the reporting of accounts to the diocese. The Finance
Committee is chaired by the parish business-manager; both trustees have
seats on the Committee, along with two other parishioners, and the
pastor.
