Music and Liturgy Preparation for Weddings
Engaged couples are invited to attend an evening of music and liturgy preparation for their wedding. This is the opportunity for couples to hear a variety of musical pieces, solos by our Leaders of Song, an explanation of parish policies and information to help them plan this important day. Music for weddings is provided by parish musicians.  Please see the Weddings page for more information.

Funerals:
Funeral Masses are arranged at the convenience of the family.  Please see the Funerals page for more information.

Anointing of the sick:
We offer the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick each Sunday at the conclusion of the 11:30 AM Mass.  Anyone anticipating elective surgery, or anyone whose illness affects his or her ability to work or to take part in the ordinary activities of life, should be anointed.  Anointing should not be repeated within six months, unless one's condition worsens.

Those who are homebound with illness may also be anointed at home.  Call the rectory (427-0638) and a priest will visit.

Holy days and special events:
Please visit the Coming Attractions page for the latest on all upcoming events.

Adult Choir
Choir members assist the assembly at Mass with prayer through song. The Choir has 40 members and sings at the 10:00 AM Sunday Mass and special liturgies such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Midnight Mass, Easter Vigil, parish celebrations, Confirmation and the annual Advent Service of Lessons and Carols. Guitarists and instrumentalists often join the Choir for these special liturgies. Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 PM (no rehearsals during July and August). There are no auditions although it is necessary to work with the director to determine voice range. A strong sense of commitment and a love of music are needed. Young adult and up: soprano, alto, tenor and bass.

Family Mass Planning Committee
At our monthly meeting, we read and pray the Scriptures for the Family Mass on the first Sunday of each month at the 11:30 AM Mass. Along with the Presider, we shape aspects of the service to communicate the Word to all age groups.

Liturgical Ministers
Lay women and men serve our communion by assisting with Sunday worship and with bringing the Holy Communion to the sick. For information, please see the Get Involved page.

Liturgy of the Word with Children
We presently provide a separate Liturgy of the Word at various weekend Masses. The children are escorted to the Chapel where the Readings are proclaimed from the Children's Lectionary.  The schedule is posted in the bulletin.

Ministers of Liturgical Environment
Helpers assist in planning and preparing for special days and seasons. The committee meets six times a year.

Youth Choir
Young persons between grades 3 and 12 sing at the 11:30 AM Sunday Mass. Rehearsals are for one hour each week from September through Easter. They join the Adult Choir for special parish celebrations.
